Job description

Our client, a worldwide lifestyle brand is looking for an Ecommerce Merchandiser to help craft and create copy for their product details, sites and marketing campaigns.

Your Contribution: 

•    Has an expertise with the brand, its consumers, and its products to present a compelling story online and maximize revenue and conversion.
•    Work alongside  with ecommerce buyers, marketing and content teams to plan and execute seasonal marketing features based on key brand stories, seasonality, forecasts, selling trends, and available inventory.
•    Appraise, maintain and create effective product categorization, keywords, attributes, sort orders, site search filtering and categorization strategies that facilitate efficient search and browsing to reinforce a positive brand experience and support effective visual merchandising. 
•    In Accord with direct manager, determines the merchandise site plan strategy and development.
•    Create and execute seasonal merchandising plans to deliver an outstanding consumer experience and to effectively present product stories across all ecommerce touch points (site, email, etc.).
•    Use reporting and web analytics tools to analyze site experience and product presentation performance and makes modifications as needed to enhance website conversion and revenue as it relates to site merchandising.
•    Research the marketplace and competitive set for best practices, trends, new ideas and actions to be taken related to the online consumer shopping experience and site presentation.
•    Demonstrate ownership of the site, closely watching quality, functionality and performance, catching problems and tackling issues with a high level of urgency.
•    Monitor and implement product recommendations, integrate and collaborate for brand through different tactics involving both native and third-party vendor solution tools. 
•    Be a pinnacle part of decision making regarding user experience, new features, new tools and on-site marketing tactics, as they relate to merchandising.
•    Manage third-party relationships and tools as it relates to merchandising functions.
•    Provide feedback and suggest ideas , enhancements to management and peers on critical processes.
•    Take a leadership approach to ideating improvements and optimizations to the business.
•    Lead by example by executing all tasks and projects with attention to detail and a heightened level of excellence. 

What you possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in merchandising preferred
• 3-5 years’ Ecommerce site experience. Prior experience in fashion/footwear industry preferred but not required
• A high energy, positive attitude with the drive and motivation to constantly be improving the online experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong attention to both big and little details with an ability to respond to last minute requests and adapt to changes in business trend
• Ability to prioritize and handle multi-tasks and be extremely organized
• Understanding of web analytics and metrics
• Proficient in MS Office and excellent Excel skills
