Executive Director of E-commerce (Consultant) Overview:

Executive Director of E-commerce (Consultant) will lead the day-to-day, and end-to-end operations of the brand’s ecommerce site including developing and managing the consumer-facing experience, inventory planning and management and manage agency partnerships. They will create winning strategy to lead continued ecommerce growth through creative and innovative digital programs leveraging data-driven insights.


Executive Director of E-commerce (Consultant) Responsibilities:

  • Develop & own commercial planning of the E-commerce business, work closely with Global and US Marketing teams, Finance, CRM, warehouse ops/logistics etc.
  • Possess CRM mindset and serve as liaison to CRM team and develop programming that enriches high value customers and cultivates new ones
  • Oversee and ideate ecommerce marketing strategy and calendar to effectively drive sales while building brand loyalty and supporting .com and cross-functional programs.
  • Partner closely with media agency to effectively manage lower funnel media to achieve strong ROAS and adhere to business goals.
  • Develop a robust promotional calendar to maximize all brand product launches with engaging storytelling.
  • Own day-to-day analytics including ensuring the ability to track, measure and report on all KPIs.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to bring digital excellence to the business.
  • Keep current with the latest E-Commerce trends and technology to drive innovation and stay ahead of competition.
  • Leverage in-depth understanding of E-Commerce business models and how to drive E-commerce sales through innovative, effective, and cost-efficient marketing/merchandising programs and strategies.

Executive Director of E-commerce (Consultant) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years progressive E-Commerce experience including successfully developing and implementing e-Commerce CRM strategies and plans.
  • 5+ years people management experience.
  • Excellent communicator, able to build strong cross-functional relationships, internally and externally.
  • Business experience with web commerce platforms and technologies, specifically Shopify & Salesforce Commerce Cloud a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen and proven track record in building and managing a P&L.
  • Beauty/Fashion Retail industry experience preferred.
