Job description

We are seeking a Film Distribution Professional to support the strategy and execution of theatrical and eventized releases. This role will have a focus on handling workflow and day-to-day operations for film releases on platform and in theaters. You'll be a point of contact with internal stakeholders, distribution partners, exhibitors, and agencies to collaborate and communicate different facets of the campaign throughout the lifecycle of the film.

Description:
Help prepare distribution strategies for slate of our films, including budgets, theatrical footprint, partners, and exhibitor marketing plans
Liaise with internal teams and distribution partners to shepherd each film through the distribution process - from post-production through its theatrical and awards campaigns
Oversee and manage operations team on feature and trailer DCP creation including versioning and delivery to vendors and venues
Support P&A budget management working directly with distribution partners, vendors, and finance teams
Manage the creation and delivery of theatrical marketing assets to distribution partners and exhibitors
Work closely with internal marketing, awards, and publicity teams to ensure synergy across screening programs, festivals, and theatrical campaigns
Support cross-functional team planning across campaigns by participating in key meetings, developing campaign recaps and updates, and using project documents, such as film trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals

Key Qualifications:
5+ years in film marketing and/or distribution experience, with direct responsibility for the release and management of theatrical campaigns
Strong foundation in specialty and commercial film distribution domestically (international, a plus)
Understanding of film distribution strategies including various release models (traditional, platform, day-and-date, and streaming), film festivals, and awards strategies
Knowledge and experience in exhibitor relations and theatrical marketing campaigns, from strategy to executing tactics
Stellar written and verbal communication skills
Brings a highly strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving
Excellent organizational, scheduling, project management, budget planning/tracking, and multitasking skills with proven attention to detail
A team player who knows how to collaborate with and motivate cross-functional teams

Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
