What we're looking for:

We're seeking an energetic Temporary Finance Associate to join our fast-paced Finance & Accounting team and be a part of a growing company that continues to innovate and disrupt traditional healthcare in America.

The Finance Associate will work closely with our Manager to ensure strategic and tactical business decisions are informed by data-driven insights and will also require you to wear many hats, support high-level strategy and decision making, and have a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mentality. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is eager to learn and enjoys a dynamic team environment.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Create analyses that guide financial strategic decisions, including but not limited to the ability to forecast and pace revenue to highlight areas of risk and opportunities
  • Lead and support ad-hoc strategic analyses, developing key insights that support business initiatives by collaborating with key business leaders
  • Evaluate and develop business cases in support of new product launches
  • Assist in the preparation, analysis, and management of financial data to guide business decision making processes
  • Perform pro forma financial modeling to help drive efficient growth and management of the business
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly presentations for private equity owners
  • Develop relationships with management to gain a deep understanding of the business and identify opportunities to influence business decisions
  • Provide superior analytical and business support to the functional business units to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge to guide new and ongoing investments
  • Perform departmental special projects as needed

 


What the role requires:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting for a 4-year college or university
  • 2 - 3 years of Financial Analyst experience preferred
  • Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing large raw data sets
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles
  • Strong quantitative and excel financial modeling skills
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and quantitative performance metrics
  • Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership, and influence and guide change through value added input
  • Ability to tailor communications to audience as appropriate, including distilling highly technical concepts into easily understandable language
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to handle and prioritize multiple work streams while making sure all analysis is error free
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to communicate with others, identify problems and resolve potential conflicts
