Pay rate = $26-34/hr DOE

 

One of our manufacturing and B2B retail clients in the interior design industry is looking for a Product Manager to join their team for an exciting contract role.

This Product Manager will be helping support two upcoming project launches that are currently in development, sampling, and launch planning stages.

The Product Manager will be assisting the Product Management team with a number of responsibilities tied to these launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand, document, and analyze information in support of product development, sampling, and collateral development.

 

Ideal Product Manager candidates will have:

- 2+ years experience in product management, marketing, business strategy, or other relevant positions.

- BA degree in related field

- Comfortable preparing budgets and understanding costs connected with line extensions, product enhancements, and resampling of the products.

- Solid understanding of and ability to identify consumer needs in the home fashion and interior design industry.

- Strong project management and communication skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams.

- Comfortable analyzing and comparing competitive data, and able to process technical information.

- Capable presenter

 

Nice to Have:

- Basic knowledge of SAP

 

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist with writing and editing of sampling documents including photo books, tab pages, photography, etc.

- Support needs for photoshoots (sending samples, assist in ordering product, proofing, etc.)

- Assist with writing and editing technical documents and publishing technical bulletins.

- Assist with writing and editing training and marketing collateral

- Support competitive and product research needs.

- Assist in finalizing color coordination

- Assist with beta test recruitment, shade ordering, survey, data gathering.

- Identify market trends and needs through the cultivation of consumer insight and market research (soliciting regular feedback from our dealers and consumers), as well as collecting industry data and sales statistics, and performing a competitive analysis of products, pricing, and positioning.

- Uncover cost-saving opportunities wherever possible including materials, fabrication labor, and automation.

- Focus on customer communication by monitoring and responding to Salesforce Chatter activity in a timely manner, and establishing yourself as a knowledge expert and focal point for all product information.
