SEO Analyst Overview:
Seeking a data-driven, content-loving freelance analyst to help guide our portfolio’s SEO efforts as we expand buying guides. This role will help shape content strategy for the four brands reporting directly to the SEO Manager and partnering with cross functional teams and Stakeholders.
SEO Analyst Responsibilities:
Own keyword research for all four brands working directly with the SEO and Commerce Teams to take a keyword from idea to execution.
Confidently recommend 200-300 content ideas per month based on data.
Drill into search data and conduct competitive analysis to find content gaps, identify opportunities, track trends, and propose new experiments.
Perform regular audits of metadata, URLs, internal linking, and other impactful SEO tactics.
Use Google Analytics, Looker, SEMRush, and other SEO tools to track performance, share wins, perform case studies, and iterate on successes.
Stay on top of SEO and Commerce industry news and search algorithm changes.
SEO Analyst Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on SEO experience is required.
A passion for data and analytics; experience with Google Analytics is required.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced publishing environment.
Experience with essential SEO digital publishing and tracking tools, including Google Search Console, SEMRush, Microsoft Excel, and content management systems.
A keen interest in the evolution of the search landscape and best practices.
