Job description
Our client is a growing luxury retailer seeking a Front-End web developer who is a self-starter ready to join a fast-paced team whose objective is to create and maintain innovative and interactive Shopify sites. Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer your role will be to communicate effectively with all teams to maximize foot traffic on all websites.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design engaging and effective category and marketing landing pages.
-Complete extensive QA testing to ensure performance consistently across all platforms.
-Create new design solutions using insights from research and analytics.
-Ensure consistent and on-brand performance on all major devices/browsers, including fast load times and bug-free core functionality with a focus on mobile optimization and performance.
Qualifications:
-Expert on Shopify Plus including custom theme creation and implementation.
-Able to work in fast pace environment.
-Fluent in the following languages: Ruby on Rails, Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript
-Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
