Our Client, and extremely exciting mental health focused company is looking for a Full Time Visual Designer.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create content for social media including custom illustrations, unique visual assets, and animations for all social channels: IG, Twitter, FB, TikTok, Pinterest
- Create visuals for 3x weekly newsletter, including hero images, designed headshots and section headers, gifs, infographics, and more
- Regularly pitch visual features for the newsletter and social media channels
- Work hand-in-hand with developer to make design tweaks to brand site
- Iterate on all creative work to A/B test and optimize
- Handle everything from sketching and visualizing to refining final assets
- Design pitch decks, creative briefs, and any and all marketing / sales collateral
- Act as a creative lead in providing feedback to outside agencies and partners regarding any and all design work
Skills:
- You have 4+ years of relevant work experience
- You are highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- You have experience working in Canva or converting files to Canva for Social Media Team
- You have a strong understanding of social media and digital design trends
- You have a strong background in layout, colors, and typography
- You have experience working with GIFs and short-form video assets
- You have the ability to receive direction and learn from your teammates but also take initiative to meet various design challenges
- You are a self-starter and able to create high-quality assets under strict deadlines without close management
- You’re a confident and persuasive communicator with the ability to speak to your work and make intelligent design decision
- You’re excited to work for a startup and define how the brand manifests visually
- You have a keen eye for aesthetics and details
- You are a team player, kind, and bring a positive attitude to every interaction
