Job description
One of our major retail/entertainment clients is looking for a General Manager to join their Chicago team on a freelance to possible hire basis! The role will be hybrid 2-3x a week.
Duties:
• Programming development in conjunction with the Lifestyle Marketing team
• Talent booking, including contract negotiation in conjunction with legal
• Management of event operations and production vendors
• Oversight of creative asset development in conjunction with internal creative team and external agency partners
Qualification
• Experience in venue or music event management at a youth-culture oriented venue or brand
• Experience with talent relations
• Experience with event management and event coordination
• Familiarity with talent booking and talent contract management
• Experience in building out event programming within art and music
• Knowledge of audio production/audio engineering is a strong bonus
**Must be based in the Chicago area**
