Job description

Our client is a leading beauty company looking to add a Global Marketing Manager to their team! You will play a key role in providing strategic guidance and marketing thought to deliver the most effective and innovative brand support plans in gifting, promotions and brand animations. This person should demonstrate a strong passion and knowledge of the Fragrance category and the US and global markets. The Global Marketing Manager will lead all cross- function teams in end-end development and creative thematic concepting for 360 brand campaigns. From insight analysis to design concepting, development, visual communications, digital, in-store visualization, eventing, and partnerships, in line with brand equity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of 360 Consumer & Brand Marketing Plans to support the brand during holidays, Key Consumption Periods (KCPs) and animations, bringing the brand to life across all touch points in-store and online, partnering closely with creative, digital, PR/influencer marketing and merchandising.
  • Lead creative concepting and development of gift sets and brand engagement tools (including gift with purchase, merchandising, eventing and collateral) to ensure the brand wins in competitive fragrance landscape, collaborating closely with the fashion house and internal partners.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to bring new programs to market on time and in-line with business objectives; initiating and managing cross-functional meetings and key development tools as needed.
  • Own end-to-end development of global gift sets, including leading the design briefing process, managing gift set P&L and driving the artwork development process, partnering closely with internal teams such as: creative, global trade marketing, supply chain, R&D, lifecycle management and finance.
  • Prepare and launch global brand offerings to ensure best in class executions with local markets, partnering closely with global trade marketing, LCM and 360 teams to ensure brand wins with relevant product line up.
  • Partner with Global Marketing Director to drive external relationships including creative and design agencies (packaging, concepting & advertising/communication).
  • Serve as category expert through ongoing competitive analysis, industry trends and knowledge of consumer promotions within Luxury Fragrances to help drive brand strategy and steer 3 year innovation plan.
  • Help team develop all sale materials and global presentations for markets and retailers. Support and participate in monthly review process and periodic formal Brand Review Presentations

 

Requirements:

  • 4 year Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Related Field; MBA a plus
  • 5+ years related experience in marketing with majority in beauty, luxury and development preferred
  • This person should demonstrate a strong passion and knowledge of the category and the US/global markets
  • Must demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, creativity, collaborative spirit, proactiveness and ownership, embracing both big picture
  • objectives and follow through on details
  • Experience working with R&D and leading creative projects end-end
  • Flair and passion for creative design, concepting and strategic 360 campaign development
  • Must be able to seamlessly work across multiple projects involving various stakeholders (internal and external), with a “can do” attitude
  • and an ability to adapt and work collaboratively across teams with a balance of analytic and creative skills.
  • Must be a self starter, professionally mature, accountable, resourceful, organized and highly detailed oriented with accurate work output
  • A strong written and verbal communicator with excellent organization and presentation skills
