Job description

Our client, a CPG Company, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team. This will be full time/direct hire and they are on hybrid schedule. 

As Graphic Designer, you’ll work on a variety of projects to support our retail, sales, e-commerce, and marketing channels. We are looking for a jack-of-all-trade designer who loves design regardless of medium and has experience working in both digital and print. This opportunity reports to the Creative Director.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:
• Collaborate with marketing and creative team to bring campaigns to life.
• Create captivating print ads and inserts to expand our retail audience.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to create best in class retail renderings.
• Execute design for marketing campaigns across email, text messages and paid ads.
• Create eye popping out of home campaigns to grow brand awareness.
• Collaborate with the Brand and Partnerships team on designs to broaden customer reach.
• Design assets for website, including homepage banners, product images, landing pages and other web assets.
• Create stunning paid social and display ads to dive sales and traffic to the website.
• Collaborate with marketing and digital product managers to make data-driven design decisions based on analytics and user feedback.
• Work closely with e-commerce team to optimize ad content, being adaptive to test results and research.
• Ensure consistency of brand and creative across all customer touch points.
• Work closely with copy to ensure visuals are harmonious with the narrative.
• Work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work independently, as well collaboratively as part of a team.
 

QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
• 2-3 years of general design experience required.
• 1-3 experience working directly for a CPG brand or within an agency focused on CPG brands.
• Proficient in the fundamentals of design (color, balance, proximity, alignment, contrast, repetition, size, and space).
• Incredibly strong attention to detail.
• Strong typographic skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills, ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project and time management skills.
• Knowledge of e-commerce, web design and UI/UX best practices.
• Adobe CC Suite + knowledge of relevant tools: Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, Asana.
• Experience creating GIFs or motion graphics.
• Experience using Shopify or other CMS systems.
