Job description

We are working with a digital experience agency who are looking for a Head of Marketing to join their team to help drive, define and implement their marketing strategy and plan. Reporting to the CEO, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing professional to join an award-winning agency and own the definition (and successful execution) of the agency’s marketing strategy, ensuring that it delivers against the annual business development plan.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Input understanding of prospective customer needs to help Head of New Business to capture insights in personas and ideal sales journeys
  • Define and manage marketing budget effectively
  • Be S’marketing team spokesperson in the Leadership Team
  • Work with internal resources to create marketing activities (e.g. events, collateral, etc.)
  • Manage external 3rd partners (e.g. Cuban8)
  • Maintain weekly/monthly status reports to raise awareness of marketing activities and progress
  • Line manage the New Business Manager to ensure they feel supported and have a clear progression plan 
  • Work with Head of New Business to create relevant propositions/campaigns from our service offering
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials and collateral including literature, digital presences, events, etc.
  • Co-ordinate, plan and handle the agency’s external communications with trade press, and maintain good relationships with key and influential media
  • Lead the constant optimisation of our digital marketing and prospecting activity (including website)
  • Drive partner marketing strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in an agency
  • Be a creative, pro-active, forward-thinking creative problem solver
  • Team player, personable and approachable
  • A good communicator and able to quickly build close relationships
  • Able to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously, working to deadlines and delivering results
  • Have excellent project management, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Able to deliver results in a team and autonomously

Please Note this is a London-Based Role.
