Job description

We are looking for an HR professional to temporarily fill our Head of People Operations role while our full-time employee is out on Maternity leave. This person will be responsible for day-to-day interfacing with our employees for all their HR needs. This includes payroll, benefits, managing goals, reimbursements, HR communications, event planning, employee engagement and more. This person will have internal HR Business Partner support, but will be expected to be the single point of contact for all HR needs. Ideally this person will be located in our Redmond, WA office but a remote location is also acceptable. We expect our Head of People Operations to go out on Maternity leave in mid-late August and would like her to train our temporary employee before she does.


HR Business Partner Responsibilities:

• Support employees with daily questions, requests, or concerns and collect and distribute pre-employment paperwork to appropriate HR members

• Oversee recruitment effort for all employees, write and place advertisements, and collaborate with supervisors to screen and interview candidates

• Conduct reference checking, extend job offers, conduct new-employee orientations, monitor career-path program, and conduct exit interviews

• Develop, recommend, and integrate personnel policies and procedures, prepare handbook policies and procedures, and perform benefits administration • Manage compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain all employee and applicant documentation as necessary by governing agencies • Distribute and monitor employee performance evaluations, evaluate reports and department initiatives, and recommend new policies and procedures



• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Proven HR Assistant experience

• Strong communication, detail oriented, and organizational skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
