Job description


As The Human Resources Coordinator, You Will:
• Support the VP of People on employee relations, new company initiatives, new hire orientation, recruiting, training and day to day follow up and all HR administrative needs.
• Manage new hire set up, HRIS submission, system set-up for new hires and current Associates.
• Must be able to toggle and use multiple unique HRIS platforms.
• Respond to general email and phone inquiries and respond quickly
• Provide basic employee relations support and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and administered in a fair and non-discriminatory manner.
• Create and maintain organizational charts.
• Support company HR initiatives and programs.
• Take on additional projects as needed.
• Facilitate successful Orientation classes for all new hires.
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Answer all benefit questions and assist in company enrollment
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and resolve any issues that may arise
• Undertake tasks around performance management
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
• Organize annual employee performance reviews with VP of People
• Maintain employee files and records in the HRIS database
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
• Ensure compliance with state and federal labor regulations

Who You Are:
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Human Resources, Retail, or Business Management)
• 2-5 years of Human Resources experience preferred
• Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, process, and procedures
• Must be resourceful and hold strong problem-solving capabilities
• Must possess a positive, solution-oriented and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Generates a variety of approaches to problem solving including and new ideas
• Comfortable with change and challenging convention.
• Has experience working for startup companies
