About this role Simplicity Consulting is on the lookout for an HR Operations Coordinator who is an action oriented, people-person with an infectiously positive attitude to support the onboarding and training of our team at Simplicity! The ideal candidate is someone who wants to make an impact, add value, and bring order to our onboarding and training process. This role reports to the Sr. Operations Manager and works alongside the team of Business Operations Coordinators to help maintain standard procedures to ensure a repeatable and scalable process for our team. Responsibilities Human Resources: • Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) and perform I-9 verification/retrieval • Maintain Simplicity Exchange, the company staff and consultant information portal • Onboard, track, & update terms, depts, titles, direct reports etc. of staff employees and ensure they have access to necessary tools with support of operations coordinators • Onboard consultants using the adding-terming check list • Coordinate performance review and development process for internal team and develop review cadence with leadership • Assist with adding-terming check list – process background checks, sending HRIS invite email • Keep team (consultants and staff) up to date on important HR policies and changes • Monitor new health benefit enrollees in HRIS & process COBRA • Coordinate annual open enrollment • Verify health benefit enrollment/waiver email sent to newly eligible employees and ensure enrollment forms and/or waivers are returned and completed by due date • Check benefit carrier feeds to ensure new heath benefit enrollees carried over successfully from HRIS • Complete employee terminations at month end and when projects end early • Complete employment verifications and respond to unemployment claims • Maintain all personnel files and records • Process emails that come through company HR alias & mail • Update HR process manual to ensure processes are continually current Operations: • Welcome new hires to the company and assign cross-divisional ‘buddies” to encourage camaraderie among team members • Develop and maintain Training Calendar for all new hires • Drive successful and productive onboarding of new hires by tracking, and scheduling all onboarding appointments for new hires • Assist with upgrading, maintaining and/or creating training content in SharePoint (or other shared systems that house this information) • Act as an admin for the team on various software programs that the team uses • Maintain an organized and up-to-date record of all training modules • Act as a liaison for the team to be sure that new hire has everything needed to be successful in their role • Identify automation opportunities and work on ongoing process improvement projects
