HR/Finance Manager
HR/Finance Manager Overview:
As the HR/Finance Manager, you will manage the administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. You will also be fundamental with completing human resources related tasks, such as recruitment and employee relations, training, compliance, and salary administration.
HR/Finance Manager Responsibilities:
· Oversees preparation of monthly financial statements; oversees and distributes quarterly dashboard
· Runs quarterly financial meeting with Owner, CEO and advisors
· Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles and/or applicable financial reporting standards
· Analyzes financial details from past, present and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed
· Assists external auditors and provides required statements and information for the monthly and annual audit
· Prepares yearly and quarterly budgets, monitoring and reporting regularly to management
· Monitors financial activities and details such as Cash Flow and reserve levels to ensure that all legal and regulatory needs are met
· Reviews and records Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure invoices are paid or collected accurately and timely
· Prepares and files monthly Sales Tax Returns and yearly Personal Property Tax Return
HR/Finance Manager Qualifications:
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Software
· Familiarity with Retail Pro POS and Shopify Online platform preferred
· Ability to use online virtual meeting software
· Valid passport in case needed to travel to Europe
