24 Seven is partnering with their client who is a sporting goods comapny, to find them an HR Support Specialist to join their team in this long-term contract. This role is 100% remote.As the HR Support Specialist, you’ll work in partnership with the store’s hiring manager, store leaders and cross functional partners to provide a high level of service throughout the US retail hiring process.
Responsibilities will include:
• Being the point of contact for all hiring needs for specific high volume districts & stores from intake to hire
o This includes posting, screening, monitoring/managing applicant pools, filling interview time slots, requesting background checks and processing the hire
• Ability to resolve escalated support questions/inquiries from store leaders and cross functional teams
• Partnering with team leads to deliver quarterly training calls to retail stores
• Completing any project work delegated by the team Lead & Manager in a timely manner
• Deliver prompt communication with the store’s hiring managers and sourcing partners
• Training new team members
Requirements for the position include:
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience and retail management strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and the ability to create/give presentations to various levels of leadership
• Strong attention to detail and deadline driven
• Able to work independently and is a self-starter
• Ability to remain focused and produce accurate results while completing repetitive tasks
• Intermediate experience with MS Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
