Client Overview:

Our client is well-known specialty retailer presenting the latest must-haves. Their modern, on-trend approach distinguishes them as leaders in the industry. They’re looking for a In-house Creative to join their innovative team.

 

In-house Creative Overview:

The In-House Creative will balance design and production work on multiple projects from concept to launch across owned and paid platforms as well as across business units. You will be responsible for the full range of creative production including concept ideation, copywriting, photography, design, and editing/adaptation.

 

In house Creative Responsibilities:

  • Creating key designs/layouts through to production assets
  • Contributing new ideas and creative design solutions appropriate for diverse media outlets, evolving technologies, and current trends
  • Bringing Innovation to life through product and packaging visuals
  • Maximizing in-store impact with consumers through breakthrough merchandising tools
  • Making our brands stand out on shelf through winning packaging design
  • A variety of static advertising units leveraged on Social Media and eCommerce
  • Basic photography and videography
  • Copywriting for all related content
  • Ground-up visual identify for brands and other initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of all brands in order to proactively and consistently delight our consumers
  • Liaise effectively with agency partners and brand teams

 

In-house Creative Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Freelance, Agency or Client-side experience
  • College Diploma (or equivalent) in Graphic Design or similar
  • Able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within all required aspects of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Knowledge of image manipulation, illustration and animation
  • Basic photography knowledge (ideally product-focused)
  • A broad understanding of marketing design and layout
  • The confidence to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally
  • Proactivity to identify opportunities to connect in the absence of a formal brief
  • A passion for advertising and commercial art
  • Motivated, hardworking, well organized, and resilient
