Job description

Our client, a, global biotechnology research company, is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer, to join their team on a freelance basis for a 12+ month contract. Role is 100% remote!

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate mastery of Articulate 360 translations from previous versions
  • Mastery of template design and rebranding challenges
  • Develop engaging, task-based content where the learner frequently interacts with the materials.
  • Meet and communicate effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs), team members, and stakeholders globally to validate and demonstrate content being developed.
  • Work in small teams to develop content collaboratively, with precision, speed, and transparency.
  • Create or leverage existing media assets, perform image/graphics manipulation/optimization, and modify design layouts to suit the content.
  • Lead discussions on revising content style standards and collaboratively create and revise them.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to follow through on multiple tasks and projects in parallel.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-managed and be able to work independently and/or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Instructional Design/Development or equivalent experience using adult learning principles, methods, theories, and techniques for global audiences + 6 years of experience.
  • Mastery of standard content development tools including Articulate 360, Microsoft Office, Camtasia, Captivate, and at least one online presentation tool (for example: WebEx, Zoom, Adobe Connect, etc.).
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate global meetings.
  • Demonstrated experience working remotely and being self-driven to meet short timelines
  • Impeccable written and spoken English skills
  • Experience using storyboards collaboratively.
  • Experience publishing SCORM 2004 files
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work successfully in an evolving and culturally diverse environment.
