Our agency client, is looking for a Live-Action Producer, to join their team on a freelance basis, starting ASAP, at least through the month of October. This person must be located in Chicago!
Overview:
Responsible for the estimating, purchasing and production of video and photography assets, including studio and location productions.
Live-Action Producer Will:

Work closely with Creatives, Product Specialists, Account Executives, Project Managers on current and upcoming projects.
- Manage projects, including the internally assigned teams, from kickoff through delivery.
- Review creative concepts, shot lists and storyboards to ensure projects can be accomplished in scope and schedule.
- Gather costs from in-house and 3rd party vendors and review with teams to ensure proper alignment and best results.
- Coordinate bid conference calls with the creative team and vendor when needed.
- Work with Cost Consultants when necessary.
- Manage budgets and schedules from beginning to end to make sure they are on time and in scope.
- Manage the routing of assets from 3rd party vendors, internal teams and client.
- Manage the creation of shots lists and usage plans and ensure metadata is properly documented within the digital asset management tool.
- Review, approve and provide final invoices to Accounting in a timely manner.
- Work with Business Affairs to support any licensing and usage requests.
- Communicate project updates with Project Managers and Account teams as needed.
- Manage day-to-day escalations and trouble shoot production challenges.
- Ensure Client and Account feedback is properly documented and executed by vendors.
- Continually review and learn about new asset creation methods and share industry knowledge with the team.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure consistent & best practices are being implemented and adhered to.
Interaction Designer Qualifications:
- Experience with Video and Photo Production
- 3+ years in a Producer role
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to operate successfully in a remote working environment
- Must be an effective communicator
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Must be willing to collaborate with colleagues
- Confident, positive attitude and ability to problem-solve
- Willingness to learn and dive into new production fields
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Must be comfortable with MacOS, Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace apps & Smartsheets
- JIRA and FileMaker experience a plus
