Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory and Replenishment Leader to manage all aspects of company inventory, from raw materials to finished goods, including purchasing, logistics, planning, analysis, and inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain overall company inventory plan while partnering with key stakeholders to optimize for shortages, damages, and disposition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement best practice inventory management strategy, policies, and processes to ensure operational excellence
• Refine systems for placing purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries while meeting or exceeding margin goals
• Initiate and track raw materials purchases from suppliers cost effectively and on schedule
• Key partner in developing company inventory budget while managing to plan
• Initiate and track shipments from manufacturers to 3PL partner(s)
• Own clear and consistent communication and reporting of all to inventory related matters
• Implement routine cycle counts and inventories
• Ensure internal IT inventory systems are accurate and maintained, while mining for opportunities to enhance tools to scale with the business
• Train and coach teams on inventory processes and compliance

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience of working in inventory analyst and replenishment function, preferably in the consumer goods category
• Self-motivated problem solver who works well under pressure and demonstrates excellent collaborative skills, and verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with importing, exporting and global supply chain markets
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a full understanding of business operations, ensuring that inventory is aligned to support company goals including margin and sales expectations and outstanding customer experience
• Robust IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of specialist systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Bill of Material (BOM) and WMS systems. Advanced Excel skills.
• Early-stage start-up company experience is a plus
• Experience and enthusiasm working within the LGBTQ+ community is a plus
