Our client, a leader in the beauty and Retail space, is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join the team on a freelance basis. This role will be remote, starting on 10/18, for 1 year to start. This role will be hybrid on-site and remote.
Overview
Accurate and timely reconciliation of physical inventories, cycle counts and
inventory adjustments performed at the store level
- Point of contact for the stores, District Managers and Loss Prevention on issues regarding shrink
- Maintain proper internal controls throughout the reconciliation process
The Inventory Control Specialist Will:
- Reconcile physical inventories performed at the store level
- Process and reconcile store cycle counts and out of stocks on a daily basis
- Analyze shrink related information and generate periodic reports for
management - Assist and coach stores on inventory control tasks and the importance of
maintaining inventory integrity - Prepare various other reports as required by management
The Inventory Control Specialist Requirements:
- Associates degree from a two-year college
- 2-4 years prior inventory reconciliation experience or related retail experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous SAP experience a plus
