Job description

We are working with a well known Beauty brand seeking a Key Account Executive for Sephora

The Key Account Executive, Sephora, will be responsible for managing and developing the relationships and growth while supporting marketing initiatives within the Sephora channel.


Key Accountabilities 
Achievement & ownership of gross-to-net budget, inclusive of trade spend, returns & MDs
Consistently & accurately forecast gross shipments, ensuring budget is achieved
Build bottoms-up retail & gross sales projections in partnership with KAD
Provide forecasts and work closely with Demand Planning team to ensure needs are met while reducing E&O
Drive positive Sephora dashboard scores, through 95%+ in-stock rates, on-time POs, and accurate returns
Build exceptionally strong relationships with all Sephora cross-functional teams through a consistent touch base and meeting cadence
Build both short- and long-term strategy for the Sephora account in partnership with all internal teams, including Marketing, Finance & Sales Ops
Build cross-channel retail sales plans with KAD driven by Marketing calendar & launch priorities
Work side-by-side with KAD to plan thoroughly & execute flawlessly: seamless communication
Collaborate with buying team and internal cross-functional teams to provide strategic recommendations that will drive business results
Effectively communicate with the Field Team via bi-weekly calls and monthly Beauty Brief
 
 
 
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 5 years experience in key account management/wholesale sales
Sephora corporate (merchant/buying office) experience a must
Ability to manage business in an entrepreneurial manner and demonstrate independent decision-making ability
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to generate and evaluate various forecasts, metrics, and analyses
A general curiosity around consumer shopping behavior and a desire to use analysis to generate new insights to it
Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Project management and implementation experience
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Demonstrated ability to accept change and be a proponent of change in meeting customers’ needs as well as in business change
Ability to deliver desired sales, gross profits and expense controls
Must be able to perform essential functions (with or without an accommodation) without posing a "direct threat" to the health and safety to self or others
