Job description

24 Seven is partnering with a large retail client to find a lead specialist to join their Labor Analytics and Planning team.

 

Details of responsibilities and required experience are listed below:

Maintain Labor System and Processes

• Own Kronos, updating reference material, training guides, tools and support

• Have a full understanding of the labor model

• Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and data integrity of store attributes (annualized sales volume, square footage, etc.) and time standards within Kronos

• Lead implementation and change management for labor-related systems or processes with field

• Proactively identify labor management issues and opportunities using field feedback, ongoing measurement, and analysis; develop solution oriented action plans

• Ensure data flowing between systems (HR, payroll, POS) is accurate and efficient Field Liaison for Workforce Management

• Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues, drive open issues to resolution, and own all necessary store level communication

• Own creation, publishing and troubleshooting of weekly reporting, including trend analysis

• Review field labor testing and related results to influence future steps

• Anticipate questions or concerns from the field and proactively develop solutions Integral member of the Retail Operations Team

• Partner with Retail Operations NSO team to track and report on project labor

• Work closely with freight and logistics team to support and understand the labor required

• Collaborate within the team to forecast and allocate all non-sell hours

• Act as a champion for store labor needs

 

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Exceptional problem solving skills, and proven experience with performing quantitative and qualitative analysis

• Strong customer focus; passion for providing a high level of service; anticipates customer needs and continuously searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction and improve processes

• Ability to build cross-functional teams and partnerships

• Ability to work independently and on teams, with little or no direction, engaging resources as required

• Strong business acumen and knowledge of retail workload, tools, and processes

• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail

• Proficient computer skills including MS office software applications

• Experience in software configuration preferred

• 4 year Bachelor’s degree required

• Experience in managing projects from creation through implementation and to maintenance

• Experience in using Kronos Workforce Management system

• Minimum 3-5 years of retail experience or related background
