Studio Spa Manager

 

Studio Spa Manager will be responsible for the Atelier’s daily operation on a full-time basis including answering the phone, scheduling appointments, enforcing Atelier policies, checking customers in and out, and organizing retail. Work hours will be varied and may include weekends and holidays.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Open and close the Atelier
  • Event Planning
  • Maintain Vendor relations
  • VIP Client Management
  • Come up with a system on how to maintain supply levels, make it super organized
  • Merchandising & changing up the retail mix
  • Oversee the appointment schedule for the Atelier
  • Answer phone and Atelier emails for New York and Los Angeles
  • Conduct walkthroughs throughout the day to ensure Atelier is in perfect condition / ready for customers
  • Confirm appointments, check customers in and out, and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Receive shipments and ensure product inventory is entered and up to date in the Booker system
  • Ensure estheticians have professional products and machines are in working order for Atelier services
  • Organize the retail area and update the Atelier Manager if Atelier inventory is running low
  • Provide a daily recap each day worked to the Front Desk Coordinator and Customer Service Manager
  • Ship customer products when requested by the Customer Service Manager related to eCommerce orders
  • Ship customer products when requested by estheticians as a follow up to customer treatments
  • Use the Master Grid to manage customer product shipments
  • Manage the “Atelier Order Form” and keep it updated
  • Submit a weekly list of retail and professional products and supplies to be ordered
  • Organize front desk and keep it clean and reorganize space as requested
  • Refill Atelier supplies and order flowers as required
  • Make sure that all coronavirus-related guidelines/checklists are followed daily by the Atelier team
  • Staffing the Studio, Payroll, People management
  • Equipment upkeep
  • Supply ordering

 

 

Qualifications

  • College degree or comparable work experience
  • Skincare knowledge is a plus
  • Prior atelier/hospitality/customer service experience preferred ( prefer out of spa/beauty experience; interest in the industry and willing to learn; nice manner; well spoken; level of maturity)

  • Mindbody/Booker software knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to stand for periods as required
  • Ability to lift spa equipment weighing approximately 25 pounds
  • CPR / first-aid certification preferred
