Title: Marketing Researcher/Retail AnalystDuration: 6+ months freelance
Our client, a lifestyle/fashion brand, is looking for a Marketing Researcher/ Analyst with Retail experience to join them for a long term contract. This is a Hybrid 40 hour per week role with 3 days per week required onsite in Somerville, MA.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze brand tracking data to deliver insights on Company and competitor brand health, brand perceptions, customer satisfaction and purchase behavior
• Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Product Development and Sales teams on consumer product testing; Gather supporting documentation and input
• Support the development of quantitative research including methodology selection, questionnaire design, programming, fielding, analysis, and reporting
• Assist with voice of the customer initiatives, ad hoc projects, research vendor selection and vendor management as needed
What you possess:
• Bachelor’s degree required, with a focus in Marketing, Market Research, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or applicable field of study
• 2+ years’ experience in consumer research at a Market Research Organization, Internal Team or Agency with a strong background in primary research design
• Experience with research tracking programs (brand, NPS, etc.) with a strong grasp of tracking methodologies, common scenarios, and analysis
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communications skills required; Experience working with multiple data sources to distill insights into a cohesive and visually compelling presentation
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, organization, and time management skills with superior attention to detail
• Experience with online survey providers preferred (e.g., Qualtrics or Medallia)
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; Specifically, Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools
• Experience with PowerBI or Tableau a plus
