Our Advertising agency client is looking to hire a Marketing Analyst/Strategist for a Freelance role with potential to be a perm position to start ASAP. This role is remote so candidates can be located anywhere in the US. Ideal candidates must have the following:

• Extensive ecommerce, paid and organic marketing analysis and experience
• Client facing experience
• Strong teamwork skills
• Be a hands on, willing and able to jump in and help with guiding tracking implementations along with providing strategic data-driven POVs on marketing and online sales performances and opportunities


MARKETING ANALYST/STRATEGIST  
 
Our Marketing Analyst is responsible for evaluating and reporting on marketing campaigns 
and overall ecommerce performance to provide immediate and long-term digital strategy and 
planning recommendations to our clients; key performance insights, paid media, social media, 
SEO, email, ecommerce, web conversion and user behaviors using quantitative and qualitative 
research and analytics.  
 
To be successful in this role, you should be a collaborator, a project lead, and a data driven 
storyteller with the ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful insights. Attention to detail, 
problem solving, constant curiosity about emerging trends and an empathetic mindset makes 
your work streamlined, actionable and impactful. 
  
You will join our media and digital experience teams to create solutions for clients large and 
small, from global brands with household names to boutique projects for smaller clients. You will 
work alongside our data analyst, data engineer, media/digital/brand strategists, digital producers, 
media planners and brand managers to support our integrated organic and performance 
marketing efforts.  

Responsibilities
* Build compelling narratives and strategic recommendations based in data  
* Create and deliver engaging presentations to articulate findings to clients and internal 
teams 
* Combine market conditions and channel data to assess the potential of online sales of 
products and services  
* Track and forecast trends in online sales and marketing, and analyze in detail the data 
collected to provide thorough reports and results  
* Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits 
and needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand 
* Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing activities, response, leads, 
sales, retention, and ROI 
* Lead the creation and implementation of scalable analytics solutions for OmniChannel 
campaigns 
* Forecast market trends 
* Research market to identify new opportunities 
* Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies and marketing plans 
* Develop measurement frameworks with appropriate KPIs and metrics for effective 
monitoring of client marketing and key business success measures 
* Work in a variety of reporting systems for the creation of recurring reports and 
dashboards 
* Utilize tools to capture, analyze and visualize proprietary and public data 
* Identify nuances in data to uncover opportunities and optimizations for owned and paid 
media 
* Lead design, execution, and delivery of new insights and innovative analytics techniques, 
tools, and processes, for enterprise- and global-level initiatives. 
* Consult with internal teams and clients on how best to track and measure key 
performance and attributions 
* Support media and digital optimization initiatives for all digital platforms – Display, Paid 
Social, SEM, SEO, website, OTT, email, etc. 
* Assist Media Planners and Digital Producers to develop actionable insight to drive 
strategic marketing direction. 
Requirements
* 4+ years work experience in marketing analytics and strategy  
* 4+ years of multi-channel digital marketing and ecommerce analytics executions 
*  Advanced experience and knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager a must 
*Data visualization skills using both Excel and Google Sheets 
*Hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting large data sets for patterns and insights 
*Self-directed, motivated and eager to always keep learning 
*  Passionate about data, digital user experience, content marketing, search and working in a 
fast pace agile digital environment 
* Sprinklr, Omniture, SiteCatalyst, SQL, Google Data Studio, PowerBI or Tableau experience 
appealing
