Marketing Analyst:
This position will be a key resource for the brand in answering business questions efficiently and effectively through data-driven insights. Gather, clean & synthesize all marketing related data in order to analyze and draw conclusions on individual programs and tests to conclude what is driving the business and make recommendations going forward.
Marketing Analyst Responsibilities:
- Gather, synthesize and analyze information into intelligence that can be used to make informed business decisions.
- Analyze past promotions and on-going programs in order to determine solid business conclusions using metrics like sales, transactions, mix, cost, etc.
- Data preparation and Validation; Organize and collect data from multiple sources, review for accuracy, conclusions and trends.
- Participate in the forecasting process along with purchasing; model financial risk of ingredient costs based on past performance and projections
- Pricing analysis, test design, evaluation and implementation working with IT and other marketing specialists to maximize profitability within brand strategic goals.
- Design test and control scenarios for implementing tests in the field; evaluate and analyze on-going results based on success criteria established during test design
- Build cost-benefit and break-even scenarios on proposed tests before implementation
On-going business tracking and reporting to multiple audiences - Work with IT and other technology vendors to improve overall reporting accuracy, responsiveness and visibility
Participate as a member of the marketing team impacting decisions through data-based analysis
Marketing Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Data management, Financial Planning, Engineering or related analytical field
(years/type): - 3+ years of experience developing and executing marketing and sales performance measurements
- 3+ years of data analysis experience, using SQL, R, python, and / or other advanced statistical techniques
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and insight generation
Demonstrated history of working in the consumer goods industry, retail, restaurant, food & beverage, or hospitality industries plus
