Marketing Coordinator Overview: 

Working under the director of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will play a significant role in the execution of marketing initiatives and assist the department in advertising campaigns. This role will be responsible for creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities. You will concept and create marketing materials, manage projects, and ensure company messages are consistent.

 

Primary Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • •Execute all marketing initiatives from planning to design to delivery: Includes retail store openings, event partnerships, retail signage initiatives and ongoing social media management
  • Work with cross functional partners to assist in the creation of monthly assets and monthly brand messaging 
  • Manage and maintain all marketing calendars, running support documents and project directives (including retail & ecommerce channels)
  • Help to create consistency around all consumer facing marketing channels
  • Create monthly social media calendar and schedule posting of content
  • Oversee management of incoming marketing requests and create project list for graphic designer to ensure all project are managed and delivered by given deadlines
  • Support new store openings
  • Be main contact to external printing and media vendors
  • Create PO’s for all marketing expenses, submit invoices and manage monthly accrual documents
  • Support in the scheduling of monthly photo shoots
  • Competitive research: Recap to marketing team of relevant industry news and content
  • Assist in coordination and execution of media buys 
  • Local travel to retail locations may be required

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, public relations preferred
  • 2-3 minimum experience in marketing/ communications/ journalism role
  • Motivated, decisive, self-starter and problem solver, with excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
