Marketing Director Overview:

As the Director of Brand Partnerships, you will create and manage relationships with brands and agencies throughout the US. Your primary goal is to develop strategic marketing partnerships that provide ancillary marketing visibility and/or incremental revenue to the artist and label.

 

Marketing Director Overview:

  • Serve as main point of contact for partnerships and collaboration execution
  • Grow new business, increase YOY revenue, meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Identify scalable opportunities, increase multi market deals and multi-year sponsorship agreements
  • Collaborate & strategize with stakeholders across departments when developing new sponsor opportunities to ensure programming and revenue goals are aligned
  • Execute partnership plans that optimize brand website and digital marketing by increasing brand awareness and driving sampling initiatives
  • Strategize partnership policies that grow the brand’s community by reaching new audiences and acquire new consumers
  • Manage all aspects of partnership execution from start to finish ensuring timelines are followed
  • Track and analyze key metrics/ KPIs and communicate data insights to key stakeholders
  • Ideating, developing, and packaging custom proposals that span digital, experiential, retail partnerships
  • Lead and collaborate across teams responsible for developing 360-partnership marketing plans
  • Oversee and facilitate, in partnership with the VP and other team leaders, deal structures and negotiation strategy of accounts.
  • Maintains oversight of and delegate all client-related and partnership budgets for assigned client accounts while assisting the team with tracking, billing, and reporting
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners to build and expand on brand partnership initiatives
  • Report on post-mortem for all partnership and collaboration deals with an assessment of key takeaways and recaps
  • Ensure cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness of brand programs

 

Marketing Director Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in marketing pertaining to music (or entertainment) industry
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with added benefit of Adobe software familiarity
