Who we seek:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who brings a strong understanding of direct response marketing, inclusive of lead generation and lead nurture strategies. This role will be instrumental in supporting the planning and execution of integrated acquisition marketing campaigns designed to promote our clients capabilities in the retail space.


Responsibilities

  • Lead partnership with business partners and other cross-functional teams such as Media, SEO Marketing, Channel Marketing and Affinity Marketing teams to ensure all DTC lead generation and nurture initiatives are aligned to strategic goals.
  • Turn insights into action: oversee customer acquisition, engagement, and retention (customer lifecycle) process through from ideation to execution.
  • Support marketing director to ensure that campaign messaging / calls-to-action are properly applied to campaign materials and aligned with acquisition strategy.
  • Partner with Data Analytics teams to ensure KPIs are measurable and to continually evaluate and optimize campaign performance.
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all campaign assets meet standards of approval.
  • Stay close to competitor trends and insights to help improve the competitive advantage.
  • Work with broader marketing department to define, execute, analyze, and optimize A/B and multi-variant tests at weekly cadence. Lead agile principles and approach to create continuous rapid improvement.
  • Define, validate, and standardize within the organization what our core KPIs and operating metrics should be at the executive team and working team levels, such as cost per metrics, retention, ROI and LTV.

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years digital marketing experience, ideally for a major transactional/e-commerce or financial services company.
  • Innovative, curious thinker with a demonstrated self-starter ability to get the job done.
  • A proven track record of personal success, and ambitious undertakings.
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to help us shape our measurement and optimization initiatives and company.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, synthesize, recommend, and take actions
  • Excellent collaboration skills across a highly matrixed organization, and ability to influence others.
  • Extremely hands on with a data driven approach.
  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting.
  • Experience in data-driven optimization for marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in acquisition marketing best practices
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tracking tools like Workfront.
  • Expert understanding of analytics and attribution platforms and tools (Adobe, Google, MarketShare, Convertro, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Familiarity with using agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies.
  • Experience in financial services; any experience with marketing in Insurance, Wealth Management, Retirement or Banking verticals or in other highly regulated industries (pharma, healthcare etc.).
