My client, a leader in the toy industry, is looking for a contract Marketing Manager to start ASAP until the middle of September. Product Marketing and Product Development experience is a must. Good knowledge of excel and powerpoint is a must as well.
Job Description:
We are looking for an Marketing Manager to lead product development, market communication and financial tracking.
Responsibilities include:
Work closely with product design, development and packaging teams to ensure product is developed on cost, with appropriate selling features and product communication to attract consumers.
Understand shipping and sales performance compared to prior years and what financial trends teams need to be aware of to make strategic product and marketing decisions.
Communicate product strategies and updates to regional leads while receiving market and retail needs back to help inform best development and optimization of product and packaging.
Brief marketing communications teams on marketing asset needs including TVC's, merchandising guides and social assets
Manage two direct reports
Qualifications:
4+ years of product marketing experience with MBA/ 6+ years of product marketing experience with BS/BA
Advanced understanding of excel and PPT for data analysis and presentation needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills
Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
