Our client, a well known ad agency is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity based in LA.

The Marketing Operations Manager will play a critical role in resourcing the agency’s day to day operations while shaping internal processes for project activation, global collaboration, and delivery. Candidates excel in aligning teams with tools to create a global marketing infrastructure. This person must possess excellent project leadership skills and have solid experience working with global production teams. Areas of focus: Oversight on the global programs and platforms that support scope management, resource management, project management, studio production, and digital asset management. Summarized responsibilities will includes: • Leads “project operations” initiatives as a program to improve agency workflow. • Define, prioritize, and execute a roadmap for these objectives across teams/offices. • Partners w/ Project Management to manage incremental work requests and reporting. • Owns, develops, and initiates secure global project workspaces across core tools. • Upholds the Agency’s disclosure process as it relates to the confidentiality of each project. • Works cross-functionally among agency partners to improve end to end processes. • Map workflows, roles, and introduce scalable solutions and/or tools to meet agency needs. • Maintain weekly calls with clients and Int’l counterparts on current objectives and tasks. • Provides communication, leads training and immersion to core tools and processes. • Leads support of processes related to internal workflows through tools. • Participates in retrospectives with production teams to improve operational performance . • Partners with solutions teams to provide the Agency’s core tools. • Provides prioritization of backlog, governance, adoption. • Works with Product Manager on milestones of related development projects . • Leads implementation and key stakeholder buy-in.

Requirements for this position include: • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in project management in an operations capacity. • Proficiency in DAM, MRM, CMS, PPM (project management) Systems. • Strong organization and planning skills, able to keep focus on key priorities. • Conceptual and strategic thinker, able to execute on broad and complex business plans. • Ability to communicate fluently with both technical and non-technical teams. • Understanding of confidentiality as it relates to clients, products, assets etc. • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
