Job description

Our client is seeking a marketing leader to drive future growth of the company’s expanding product offerings and value proposition. This director will be highly fluent in MarTech capabilities and develop and execute high visibility B2C & B2B2C go-to-market strategies across the financial institutions emerging business.  This is a newly created position that will be responsible for attracting new prospective customers and converting them into retail customers.

Furthermore, this person will lead digitally focused omni-channel initiatives that cut across all of the businesses. Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategy and execute accurate, effective, and innovative go-to-market DTC plans to drive qualified sales leads.

Develop vision, set strategy and execute marketing programs for an emerging business in line with the financial organization’s enterprise brand.

Lead growth initiatives, with deep understanding of digital paid, owned and earned channel optimization.

Optimize marketing operations, including hand-on expertise of MarTech strategy and execution, that influence strategic growth.

Define and monitor B2C and B2B2C core KPIs (e.g. CAC, ROAS, LTV, among other key metrics) to drive the business.

Lead optimization and insights as the go-to SME of performance data analytics, continuously identifying opportunities for sales growth and customer acquisition.

Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to ensure a cohesive consumer experience.

Maintain deep understanding of target segments and behaviors, e.g., segment specific financial service needs.

Implement sales and marketing tools and processes to increase efficiency and optimize customer acquisition funnel and costs.

Partnership across marketing functions to support integrated omni-channel digital ecosystem.

Cultivate a performance-driven marketing team with a one-team mindset across businesses.

Provide regular feedback to executive leadership on marketing program performance and optimization

Define objectives, write marketing briefs to support the creation of deliverables. Managing and motivating a team, allocating and supervising their work.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (8+ years) in digitally enabled businesses. MBA or business degree a plus.

Prior experience with MarTech, digital acquisition and sales across on-us and off-us channels, including email, direct mail, display, search, social etc.

Experience managing a team and leading cross functionally, with the ability to influence with a highly matrixed organization.

Experience in financial services; any experience with marketing in Insurance, Investments and Retirement space a plus.

Ability to connect dots and streamline content and delivery mechanisms.  Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to effectively work independently, as well as part of a team.

Extremely detail oriented with teamwork skills and the ability to work across functional teams and all levels of the organization.

Top notch written and oral communication skills while in presence of executive leadership; expert in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Collaborative mindset that inspires those around them (peers and those more senior) to be creative and try new things.

Experience working with consultants is a plus.
