Our client, a toy and entertainment product company is looking for a Marketing Research Analyst to join their team!

40 hours/week, full time hours
3 month assignment
Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite in Chatsworth


Job Description
As a research analyst you will be an essential part of the Research and Consumer Insights Team and will be primarily responsible for ad testing, with a secondary role supporting toy testing with kids. This analyst will take the lead in analyzing survey data, coding open ends, creating tables, and developing reports with actionable insights on our commercials during our production seasons. In the off-season, this role will support toy testing with kids, both on-site and over zoom.

Essential Duties
• Work with marketing teams and commercial production team to understand goals of study and questions to be answered
• Update questionnaires, gather assets, and program ad tests in survey platform using existing templates
• Work with vendor(s) to manage fielding of study, check, and clean data
• Code open-ended responses to understand the nuances of how the different spots perform.
• Create charts and tables and develop comprehensive PowerPoint presentations that communicate the story in an easily digestible manner
• Deliver insights and recommendations supported by data to improve commercials that underperform in testing.
• Support other tactical research projects as needed with room to develop or try new methodologies
• Assist with toy testing—usability as well as appeal testing.

Job Qualifications
• Ability to anticipate and identify project problems and find solutions independently or with minimal guidance
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical/critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects with varying timelines
• Minimum of 2 years of market research experience
• Understanding of survey research methods as well as interest in identifying and trying out new methodologies
• Experience with online survey programming platforms required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in very fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
• Experience with dashboards or data visualization software a plus
• BA/BS in a related field (e.g., statistics, marketing, market research, business, etc.)
