Job description

 Our global footwear and apparel client is hiring a Marketing Manager on a 10 month contract that is likely to extend and could lead to fulltime opportunities. This position is eligible for benefits and sick time.

Based in Portland, as Marketing Manager, you will be part of the APLA Catalyst Brand Management team. This team will be accountable for:

- Humanising our brand through relationships with cultural catalyst, that create the future of sport* and energize the business and brand

- Providing outstanding service and brand management for all Catalyst relationships

- Engaging visionary members with future forward Catalyst concepts and ideas which reimagines the future of sport* - Owning targeted creative (and extensions) to specific catalyst city needs

- Fueling our global engine with sharp, relevant insights that can seed new and future ideas Who are we looking for? We are looking for a talented brand marketeer with a passion for and connection to APLA culture.

As a APLA Catalyst Marketing Manager, you will be part of the APLA Catalyst Brand Management function, reporting directly to the APLA Catalyst Brand Management Senior Director. In this role your core duties will include:

- Support the Catalyst Brand Management Senior Director in creating visionary marketing concepts and narratives for identified APLA catalysts which push the boundaries of creativity and sport and advance the notion of sport culture in APLA, permeating visionary citizens throughout the Globe.

- Drive planning and execution of identified catalyst marketing concepts with internal stakeholders, managing the external catalysts in partnership with Catalyst relationship team.

 - Gather structured and continuous visionary consumer insights to allow us to better serve Visionary members in APLA, and to feed back to APLA/Global in order to help longer-term & seasonal concepts

- Partner with the Catalyst Relationships to identify and talent scout the next generation of cultural catalyst leaders in APLA. Who will you work with?

In this role you will work with the Catalyst Brand Management team in the cities and Global, always with a growth mindset to contribute towards a World-class Catalyst team. 

What you bring?

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in brand and/or brand functional management, with ideally a strong focus on cross functional marketing.

• Prior marketing experience in APLA and a demonstrable understanding of the Visionary consumer, the APLA Cities and our clients position within it Leadership Defined Key Competencies:
