Job description

Our client is looking for a Media Planner/Buyer who's responsibility will be to execute and manage all digital media programs, as well prepare campaign performance reports and analytics. You would work to maintain and negotiate digital media buys along with some traditional media across a variety of national and local markets. You would help prepare budgets, estimates and review analytics to accomplish client objectives and strategies.


Specific Duties:
• Manage the day-to-day operations, including media research and analysis, planning, buying, campaign administration and reporting
• Develop, implement and optimize online client strategies and initiatives
• Set up and optimized campaigns in Google Ad Servers, DSPs, social media platforms
• Interact with outside vendors and external business partners regarding various facets of client media activity, such as assembly of media authorizations, billing, insertion orders and report procurements
• Ability to manage and maintain search campaigns and stay up to date on latest tools and trends
• Communicate with clients on digital media issues and recommendations
• Create and manage media flowcharts, insertion orders, billing and media vendor contacts
• Create buys in media system (ie: Advantage Software)
• Maintain organized buy records
• Prepare and send traffic to media outlets


Requirements:
• 4-year college degree – Marketing, Communications or Advertising Degree or emphasis preferred
• 3-5 years digital media buying/planning experience
• Experience developing and executing SEM, social media and programmatic plans
• Computer proficiency; advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus
• Proactive problem-solving ability
• Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Understanding of marketing fundamentals
• Deadline-oriented with a sense of urgency
• Ability to collaborate well with staff, clients, and vendors at all levels
• Self-starter, high energy, assertive, take charge personality.
