Our client, a global beauty brand is looking to bring on a Media Manager to their US Consumer Beauty Division in New York.
Media Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Work with media agency in developing media plans that reach brand goals
- Lead managing media workflow to ensure deliverables and deadlines are communicated & adhered to with internal and external partners including Brand Marketing, Global Marketing, eComm, Media agency and media partners.
- Collaborate with Coordinator/Assistant Manager in developing Bi-weekly Competitive Paid Social Insights report for distribution to Marketing & Leadership team
- Work with Brand teams on briefs, budgets and reports
- Liaise with agency on planning, execution, strategy and reporting for campaigns and partnership opportunities
- Work with vendors on strategic partnerships, roadmaps and agendas for monthly calls
- Work in close partnership with Global Media & Marketing teams
- Stay up to date on latest channels, platforms, buying methods and ad units
- Attend weekly media agency status
- Act as a media knowledge resource for brand marketing teams
Media Manager Essentials:
- 4 -5 years relevant work experience in media
- A bachelor's degree is required
- Knowledge in all areas of media (media strategy, planning and buying - digital, experience)
- Very strong project management skills
- Attention to detail & executional excellence
- Proactivity and start-up mindset: ability to move, propose new ideas and take actions before asked
- Knowledge of US Consumer Beauty environment (competitive brands, retail environment, digital activations) would be helpful
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytical & Strategic: Planning, administration, creativity, problem analysis
