This Media Planner role is focused on strategizing, activating and reporting on digital and traditional media plans for a luxury automaker.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and recommend media strategy and budget allocations across both digital (digital video, display, mobile, programmatic, etc.) and traditional (TV, OOH, Radio, Print)
• Confer with Media team, clients, and internal account services teams to establish media objectives and strategies
• Mentor and assist in training team assistants
• Oversee partner agencies, internal teams, and publisher contacts on production timelines, creative development, and creative hand-offs to ensure timely launches
• Monitor, optimize, and report on campaign performance on a regular basis, including on-site conversions, cost-pers, brand safety and budget pacing
• Maintain ownership of internal tools including media plans, flowcharts, spec sheets and budget documents
• Stay up to date with the evolution of the media landscape, assessing new opportunities and providing client facing point-of-views
• Utilize competitive tools to develop bi-yearly competitive reports and actionable insights for clients
Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree required.
• 2-4 years of Media Planning experience required, preferably integrated or digital focused
• Strong mathematical abilities required in this position
• MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Suite
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
Desired Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
• Experience analyzing data and market research
• Experience delegating assignments to junior staff
• Prisma, Google Campaign Manager/Ad Server experience is preferred
• Comscore, Kantar, MRI, Google Analytics, MediaTools experience is a plus
