Job description

Our retail giant client is looking for a Merchandise Assistant to join their Global Merchandising team. You will support the Global Collaborations and Licensed Partnership team, helping drive operational processes crucial to developing best-in-class collaborations.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry and maintenance of seasonal product integrity in product management systems

• May be responsible for Sample organization & management

• Contribute to some aspects of Product Development activities

• Conduct administrative work as needed

• Act as a conduit of information, materials, and samples to regions and cross-functional teams

• Facilitate and organize product approval processes

• Create and maintain line plans/matrix and communicate the plan with key cross-functional business partners

• Assist Merchants with preparation for performance reviews and sell-out reports

• Assist with targeted consumer and competitor research via market shopping and fashion publications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Recommended 1-2-years’ experience in apparel merchandising

• Strong knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

• Strong detail orientation, thoroughness, and responsiveness

• Quick learner and self-starter

• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills across teams and levels

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

• Passion for product and consumer-centric

• Proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
