Our global footwear and apparel client is hiring a Merchandising Specialist on a 6 month contract that will likely extend and has the potential to covert to full time down the road if a good fit. This position is eligible for benefits and sick time.
Job Description Duties: Build consumer offering and multi-season product strategy into an agreed-upon actionable product line architecture and initial product line plan.
• Create and manage merchandising tools including visual assortments, product line attributes, visual and analytical summaries, and physical samples
• Determine and tag product fields for strategic components such as product lifecycle, strategic intent, membership, geo must adopt products
• Build marketplace insights into Product Line Architecture and Plans, through collaboration with Geography Merchants
• Set pricing architecture and MSRP for the product line
• Partner with Global Product to recommend the final global product line across seasons; provide input to Product peers on placeholders to bring products closer to market
• Navigate a multi-season approach to product mix; franchise and classification excellence, product essentials, newness, innovation & exploration
• Provide input to leadership informing invest/divest decisions for both financial goals and number of consumer choices

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree a plus
