Our client, a leader in the financial industry, is looking to add a Mid-Level Copywriter to their growing Marketing team on a fulltime basis. This role is set to start ASAP; the role is remote for now, but candidate will eventually be hybrid. Must be willing to commute to Chicago suburbs!

Overview: 

This client is in the midst of a digital transformation, and need an  innovative Marketing Copywriter who will be responsible for digital marketing copy development and copywriting. This individual will need the ability to develop creative concepts that are relevant, innovative, and effective for all digital marketing platforms. In addition to excellent marketing writing skills and the ability to bring big idea thinking to the team, they’ll need to identify and stay current on consumer financial behavior trends and marketing strategies.

Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • Concept, pitch, and produce smart, consumer-friendly content for a range of digital marketing assets from blogs and white papers, to landing pages, email, social media, digital display, search, video, press releases, ads, postcards, flyers, and brochures.
  • See ideas through from concept to execution, working with the direction of Marketing leaders, creative directors, strategists, account managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present work to Marketing leadership for approval.
    Become an expert in organization's products, customer enablement, and customer needs
  • Innovate our creative by identifying and executing on latest industry trends, approaches, and techniques.

Copywriter Qualifications:

  • At least 1-3 years’ experience as a Marketing Copywriter
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating their ability to conceive ideas and write various content types for various audiences, across all digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience in digital ad copywriting and search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, and experience using project management software
  • B.A. in Journalism, or Marketing/Advertising, or Creative Writing, or English preferred
