Client Overview:  Our client is a media company that generates revenue by selling advertising on its web site, and lends its real estate search engine to the web sites of more than 180 United States newspapers.

Position Overview: You will join our collaborative team in the creation of content for a variety of different platforms, including all social platforms. You can conceptualize, design, and create custom motion graphics consistent with the brand in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Craft templates and motion graphics assets for all digital, mobile, and broadcast content platforms in partnership with the creative team
  • Concept, design, animate, and edit video, animations, social media videos, infographics, overlays, and web content across all platforms including digital and mobile
  • Create motion graphic templates for easy use by other team members 
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure a smooth and productive workflow of video production while maintaining a high productivity and high creative & technical standards 
  • Design innovative storyboards and lead pre-production and creative connecting
  • Collaborate with writers, infographic artists, and other content professionals to best support business goals
  • Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to stay on the leading edge of motion design
  • Maintain technical standards and management of all post-production content
  • Exercise judgment and project management skills to balance priorities and communicate to teams to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitments; keep internal clients informed of projects and progress
  • Develop long-term design strategies, staying ahead of the curve on design technologies and how they can be applied to the needs of the design team
  • Partner closely with social and analytics team to learn performance insights and iterate new concepts that are on brand
  • Adhere to brand and style guidelines while pushing creative boundaries

Key Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years motion graphics experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Advanced 3D modeling and animation skills, Cinema 4D a plus
  • A mastery of design, typography, color theory, motion, illustration and postproduction
  • Proficient MS Office suite skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Maintains familiarity with current culture video trends, social platforms, and relevance of fast and slow trends
