Paid Social Media Specialist Overview:

As the Paid Social Media Specialist, you develop and implement highly strategic and comprehensive paid social media plans and ensure consumer acquisition and engagement supports the company’s overall objectives In this role, you are responsible for the day-to-day campaign execution and management to meet client KPIs. You will assist in creating social media recommendations and presentations to be shared with internal team members and clients.

 

Paid Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:

· Create innovative and strategic content across all social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube

· Develop, manage, and optimize comprehensive paid social campaigns

· Collaborate with key cross-functional departments to confirm social media campaign effectiveness and ensure social media is incorporated into all the company’s campaigns

· Monitor competitive social landscape, market changes, and developments, remain current of emerging industry and digital trends, and provide highly strategic recommendations

· Liaise with the communications team to develop and plan strategic and tactical digital launches and oversee the social media budget and provide updates to necessary partners

· Manage the social performance reporting process and communicate results with key stakeholders

· Prepare presentations and recommendations and be comfortable sharing with clients and internal team members

· Translate business objectives into social media objectives, enriched by proprietary benchmarks

· Define content amplification principles including segmentation and contextualization approach

· Design strategies that focus on retention/acquisition objectives with sales, subscriptions, app downloads, etc. being the main KPIs

· Ensure proper escalation path for campaigns that are not performing as expected

· Manage campaigns so that they are editorially strong and optimized to achieve desired results

· Analyze relevant performance metrics and report actionable insights to creative, marketing, customer service and merchandising teams

 

 

Paid Social Media Strategist Key Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in paid social media management

· Understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe SiteCatalyst

· Understanding of omnichannel digital marketing

· Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Passionate about quickly evolving digital/social media environment with a strong point of view to share with clients and colleagues
