Sales Associate Overview:
As a PART-TIME (around 32+ hours/week) retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing top level customer service in line with brand expectations and assisting with general upkeep of the boutique. You provide outstanding customer service and demonstrate superior product knowledge to customers.
Salary is $18-20/hr with pooled commission
Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer experience by ensuring the customer is always the top priority
- Assisting customers and operating Shopify for all transactions
- Aware of fashion trends, particularly the brand vision for each new delivery
- Maintaining and replenishing sales floor, merchandise presentation, and store display
- Demonstrate knowledge of all store products and inventory availability and proactively seek opportunities to upsell and build sales
- Promptly and politely respond to customer inquiries and requests for support
- Demonstrate high level of professionalism and appropriateness working with customers in dressing room fittings and while presenting intimate apparel and accessories
- Backstock inventory organization and upkeep
- Assist the team n executing all daily retail operations to ensure premium service and smooth store functioning
- Communicate any specific inventory issues or requests for weekly reorder and assist with send backs, transfers and damages as needed
- Maintain a seamless check out process for sales and returns and always seek to find the best possible solution for the customer
- Adhere to weekly/monthly work schedules and maintain availability and flexibility to town nights, weekends, store openings/closings, and events according to the needs of the business
Sales Associate Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2+ years retail experience
- Luxury/lingerie experience is a huge plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to community and share information with diverse groups of customers
- Energetic, upbeat personality; always demonstrate an energetic and positive attitude
- Proficient in POS systems a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours
- Prolonged period of standing/walking around the retail store
