Photographer
Location: Orange County / partial remote

You are a multi- talented Photographer who will create still & motion content in our internal studio. You will work closely with the Creative Director & Art Director to create original and engaging photos and video for new product launches, best-selling products, social channels, and internal communication. This role requires a high degree of craft and technical expertise along with passion and creativity to develop, create and deliver photos and videos that brings our unique brand(s) to life. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work closely under the direction of the Creative Director & Art Director to create video and photo assets that support new product launches, existing products, beauty tutorials, brand content for social media, owned channels and internal communication
• Must have proven studio lighting experience for products and people of multiple skin tones in both stills and video.
• Must have proven camera expertise for shooting both still and video of products and people of multiple skin tones in both studio and on location
• Experience concepting & shooting original video and still content for ecommerce, social, and internal communication with a deep understanding of each channel and how to adapt the work effectively
• Execute post production including making selects, photo retouching abilities and retouching notes, organization and final asset delivery
• Must be proactive in retrieving and following up on all aspects necessary to get the job done and take personal responsibility that all deliverables are on brand, of the highest-quality and on-time
• Actively inspire internal teams about video, stills, product textures of both models and products and be an advocate on internally-created content
• Strong understanding of the internet and a passionate user of digital technologies who is curious about the evolution of beauty & wellness photography and video content
• Regularly review social channels, websites and etailers of our competitors to stay up-to-date

Qualifications:
• 5+ years-experience producing & creating stills and video for ecommerce, social and owned channels at a brand or digital agency
• A portfolio of commercial work that demonstrating exceptional still and video work for client-oriented projects
• Solid communication skills, including the ability to present and sell your work
• Able to work seamlessly & flexibly with Studio Art Director, creative lead, project managers, marketing managers and other cross-functional team members
• Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to tight and demanding deadlines
• Highly skilled in studio lighting for stills and video, still and video camera operation, stop frame animation, photo retouching
• After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator skills a plus
• Experience in wellness, beauty and/or fashion also a plus
