Company Overview:
Our client is a fast-growing sustainable sneaker brand looking for a PR Coordinator to join their team!
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily media monitoring and clipping of press placements
- Begin to build relationships with relevant editors, developing market pitches and securing media coverage
- Assist in drafting communications for niche media and conducting outreach
- Maintaining media lists and compiling relevant media
- Provide support to the VIP Manager on proactive pitching efforts and gifting surrounding brand initiatives and launches to secure relevant VIP placements.
- Keeping up to date with relevant holidays, birthdays, special events, and so forth pertaining to VIP, editors, etc.
Qualifications:
- 1 year intern or work experience in Public Relations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of the media landscape, both print and digital
- Bachelor's degree in communications, PR, journalism or marketing preferred
- Able to work in fast-paced environments
