Our client is a global marketing agency that creates connected brands. They harness creativity, technology and culture to create connected brands that drive value for our clients and impact the world.

Their clients include global FMCG, automotive, pharma, sports, travel, alcohol and beauty brands. They have more than 7,000 employees with principal offices in 33 locations across six continents.

THE TEAM

Our team works across all aspects of digital delivery covering multiple owned channels and platforms. We engage in the creative process to deliver high quality solutions for our client’s European markets. Our team is able to define and design digital project UX and successfully maintain products across digital platforms.  

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help optimise the Ecommerce experience by shaping the product backlog in partnership with Product Owners from within our client. Through the delivery of insights and analytics driven improvements, the product manager will help to strengthen the offering of the Ecommerce product.

You will need to be a collaborative and an excellent communicator, with broad process implementation experience and a proven ability to support and promote digital evolution in a large-scale business.? 

Working alongside a senior agile project manager, business analyst, UX Writer and UX Design resource, as well as the client’s in-house development teams, you will be a central point of integration for multiple stakeholders across Ecommerce including customers. You will be chiefly responsible for defining features and prioritising the product backlog based on defined KPIs.

As the product manager for EU Ecommerce, we would expect you to identify opportunities for enhancements across the product offering, monitor the market and develop competitive analyses, create an optimisation roadmap, act as a product evangelist to all stakeholders, define what success looks like, and subsequently demonstrate analytical evidence of your product initiatives.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong data driven mindset: We can offer a multitude of data points, from site usage stats to AB testing to user research. You will need to have a strong ability to cut through noise and complexity, interpret the data and identify where the best conversion opportunities lie and in the simplest of solutions.
  • High quality communication: Our client’s stakeholders need to be persuaded with evidence to accept your ideas. You need to have a proven track record of confidently delivering recommendations to clients that utilise data and analytics to drive alignment and common understanding of the product vision, as well as receiving feedback and iterating on your original proposal.
  • Confidence: The experience to act decisively and autonomously based on insights and build buy-in with Product Owners and Colleagues in a collaborative way.
  • Coaching: We are always trying to work smarter, as an experienced advocate of Agile and Lean approaches, you should be up for coaching less experienced members of the team, challenging yourself and others to improve.
  • Data sources: Identify the data sources, help collect information about customer behaviour over time and develop a shared understanding of how the optimisation roadmap has made an impact.
  • Experience: Existing experience of product management is essential, preferably within an agency environment or as a consultant, and within the field of e-commerce, automotive is a plus. Experience with user research, usability, user experience design and content strategy is desirable.
