*On site in Farmingdale, NYRole Overview: The product manager will work cross functional across multiple teams to drive time line and operational excellence based on designs seasonal concepts.
Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Key liaison between production, marketing, design, sales, and pattern making
- Maintains tracking charts for fit, trim, L/Ds & S/Os, and salesman samples
- Liaise with our overseas factory in a timely manner
- Approve samples and production in conjunction with patternmaker and designer
- Build seasonal tech packs
- Maintain style masters
- Partner with design and marketing to create line lists
- Organize & communicate to the factory any special sample requests
- Review and pass off the seasonal line to production
- Partner with design and pattern making to maintain quality standards from 1st fit through TOP
- Review & provide codes for marketing trim to marketing for new seasonal styles
- 3 to 5 years industry experience in a sourcing, product development role
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Swimwear/Active wear experience preferred. Will consider sportswear.
- Garment construction and raw materials experience: Knits/Wovens, stretch fabrics, dyeing, finishing
- Experience with fitting garments and creating and revising specs
- Have strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills
- Sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize work according to seasonal calendar
