Our client, an apparel brand, is seeking a Product Associate/Manager to join their Los Angeles team. Candidates MUST have Walmart experience.
Responsibilities:
- Issue order confirmations and requirements for all orders
- Manage the production approval process in partnership with our China based team- monitor WIP reports to ensure on time delivery
- Allocate and follow up on product development packages sent to overseas factories for sampling and approvals
- Partner with design and technical design to ensure styles are production friendly during the development stages.
- Create cost sheets in WM QMS system for ADM and AFM submissions
- Review color submits with design and issue comments for internally approved styles
- Oversee testing processes from development stage through, PP, Production testing, and final inspections as well as CTL submissions: labdips, shadebands, and mockups
- Communicate with WM PD and QA on approvals and issues as they arise
- Order and track imagery and marketing samples
- Handle FOB shipments from booking approval through IH delivery
Skills:
- Bachelors degree
- 3-4 years in production in a wholesale apparel environment, WM experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PLM
- Critical creative thinking and problem solving to manage issues as they arise
- Ability to navigate and prioritize in a fast paced, high energy, environment and multi tasking capabilities
- Self starter comfortable making decisions and operating independently
- This is an in office position
